Golden eagles, Peregrine falcons and Red Deer roam the high ridges with Atlantic salmon and sea-trout spawning in the River Carron. 

The Wilderness Reserve is undergoing a highly innovative fauna and flora restoration programme where 18 permanent staff, many recruited from the local area, work on a wide range of projects.

Guests staying in the main Lodge (Alladale Lodge) will enjoy this grand, Victorian shooting Lodge, fully staffed, catered and with expclusive use, regardless of your guest numbers.

Two further newly-built stone lodges, ‘Eagle’s Crag’ and ‘Ghillie’s Rest’ and available for families and smaller guest parties. Each Lodge will be well stocked with provisions during your stay, including evening meals, pre-prepared by the Lodge catering team, taken in your Lodge when you want.

Alladale Wilderness Reserve is modelled on a private game preserve in South Africa,combining wild, natural beauty with a touch of luxury.
