It is set in the grandeur of the Grampian mountains with vast inspirational views all round. An Tochailt is approached from Dalwhinnie by a private drive along the lochside. The Lodge was recently built to a very high specification, combining the extravagance of the 19th century with the comforts of the 21st. The great thing about An Tochailt is that it combines the dramatic remoteness of the Grampian hills with easy accessibility to the rest of Scotland. The lodge is two miles from the A9, and so only an hour's easy drive to Perth, Inverness, Fort William or Grantown-on-Spey.
