This beautiful country house is the home of celebrated interior designer Mikhail Pietranek who has undertaken commissions worldwide. Built in 1782 the interior is unique and of an exceptionally high standard.
All rooms and apartments are distinctively Scottish in style with charming tartan and soft tweed furnishings, drapes and wall coverings. The fabulous four poster beds are six feet wide.
There are 2 apartments, the Lomond and the Lammermoor, and each has a double bedroom, four poster double bedroom, bathroom and a lounge. The other bedrooms all have private bathrooms with the Birsemhor Room having the extra luxury feature of a jacuzzi bath. All rooms have refreshment bars, drinks coolers, satellite television and phone sockets for internet access. The drawing room and large, formal dining room are perfect large lively dinner parties.
This is an area of outstanding natural beauty that is rich in history.

The beautiful Balmoral Castle, home to the Royal Family during the summer, and their place of worship, Crathie Kirk, are only eight miles away. Fantastic hiking, climbing and skiing can be found in the Cairngorms National Park which is near by.
Braemar Gathering and Highland Games, that is held every September.
