Set in a beautiful and isolated area of Ayrshire, this house is a wonderful example of Edwardian Arts and Crafts architecture. The long winding track to the house sets the scene for the splendid seclusion the house enjoys. With an impressive ballroom doubling as a games room with vaulted ceilings and excellent acoustics, this lovely large house is perfect for parties and small weddings. The large hall which can also be used as a games room has a table tennis table and a badminton net providing entertainment.
The public rooms are full of character. Tastefully furnished, they are warm and welcoming, with panelled walls and open log fires creating a relaxing atmosphere. The recently refurbished kitchen is both attractive and very well equipped.
The property has an element of luxury, on the first floor there is a large antique bath and a modern surround shower and the master bedroom is en suite and has a traditional four poster bed. The other bedrooms are all comfortable and practical. Outside there is a large garden at the bottom of the garden is a small lochan.
