package for the Dunhill Links Championship 2008. As usual, the Championship will take place at the Old Course — St Andrews, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie. Our offer includes fully catered accommodation in a private country house with cookfor parties of up to 12 people, plus full cooked breakfast and 4 course evening dinner. The private house is ideally located for all 3 venues. The final package can be designed to suit you including length of stay and any transport requirements.
The Dunhill Links Championship, conceived as a
celebration of links golf, is played over 3 of the world’s best known
and respected links courses—the Old Course at St Andrews, the
Championship Course at Carnoustie and the highly regarded
Kingsbarns Golf Links. Teams are made up of 1 Professional and 1
Amateur. The competitors will play each of the three courses in
rotation over the first three days with the final round being played
over the Old Course at St Andrews on Sunday the 7th. Joining the
professionals in past tournaments have been talented amateur
golfers including Boris Becker, Ian Botham, Sir Bobby Charlton,
Michael Douglas, Sir Mathew Pinsent, Nigel Mansell & Jodie Kidd, to name a few.
