A beautiful converted mill house in a beautiful, private setting in Perthshire
Locherlour Mill is a Grade B listed, 19th century mill, which has been stunningly renovated to create a superb holiday venue with green credentials. Guests can enjoy a home cinema, four poster beds and under floor heating.
Built in 1832 as a working water mill for a local farm, it was designed in a grand Georgian manner.
Original features like the original water wheel can be viewed from the open plan kitchen area. The lounge is enhanced by the addition of large windows opening onto an upper terrace, and from the first floor library, guests can look through an open atrium to the dining hall below. An impressive Orangery at the front of the building has been stripped back to the old stone walls and wooden floors and given a contemporary edge, enjoying gorgeous views over the Perthshire hills.
Please note that the mill is only available to rent to famlly groups.
