A country castle situated in the stunning Perthshire Glens. Perfect for family holidays and get special occasions
Surrounded by Glenisla's stunning scenery and set in 3 acres of grounds, this Castle was originally built in 1560 by the Ogilvy family and enjoys a history as rich as the countryside in which it sits. Destroyed by the Duke of Argyll in 1640, it has been completely restored using traditional materials and has lost none of its essential character or features. It boasts all the modern comforts and conveniences and occupies five floors, each reached by a stone spiral staircase. The vast log fire and painted ceiling in the Great Hall makes these unique surroundings perfect for any special occasion.
Activities: Guests at the Castle can enjoy superb walking from the door, with local riding, shooting and fishing by arrangement, and facilities for skiing and golf only 10 miles away.
