Rhidorroch House is situated in an elevated position with unrivalled views over the hills and across Loch Achall. The house offers great character and charm, offering accommodation for up to 14 people. There is a billiards room with full size table, a superb oak panelled dining room and a large drawing room with an open fire.
Rhidorroch Estate extends to around 20,000 acres and offers wonderful mixed sporting opportunities including salmon fishing on two river systems, wild brown trout fishing, red and sika deer stalking and informal walked-up grouse shooting. The estate takes in some of the most dramatic west coast scenery.

Salmon Fishing
Rhidorroch is rather unique having two salmon rivers on the estate, of which one flows to the west coast and one flows to the east.
The Ullapool River, has some excellent fly water over its two beats, providing salmon fishing for up to 4 rods from the end of June until early October. The Ullapool is a typical west coast spate river although after good rain the river will continue to fish for several days, due to Loch Achall at the head of the system.
The Rappach, a tributary of the Oykel, is a wild, remote and wonderful river to fish with salmon fishing for up to 4 rods. This east coast river is an hour’s drive by four wheel drive and half an hour’s walk over moorland – but well worth it given the right water conditions!
Other Activities
There is some superb walking in the area including several famous Munros, including Stac Pollaidh, which is a short drive from the estate.
