DESCRIPTION
Ardtornish Estate is not just a beautiful spot on the West Coast of Scotland.
The estate's main house can accommodate up to 48 guests in 5 self-contained apartments decorated in keeping with the period of the house. In addition to the main house there are cottages available on
the estate brining the accomomdation numbers to 98.
The sweeping drive leads up to ample parking for guests within the courtyard. When you set foot inside, you’ll be swept back to the days of Downton Abbey and period dramas where the ornate touches whisper of times gone.
The view from each apartment looks out over the gardens and down toward Lochaline.
HISTORY
The present site of Ardtornish House was chosen in 1856 by Octavius Smith, a distiller from London. The substantial mansion house with a high clock tower was designed by Alexander Ross of Inverness and was completed in 1891.

The garden at Ardtornish has been sculpted out of a rocky hillside & from every part boasts extensive views south-west along Loch Aline to the hills of the Isle of
Mull.
